As a Mandarin-Indonesian Site Interpreter at Starlead Surabaya, you will work closely with our construction management team, who are based in China. Your daily tasks will involve interpreting meetings, site visits, and other communication between our team and local contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. You will need to have a deep understanding of both languages and cultures to ensure that all parties are on the same page.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Interpret meetings and discussions between the Chinese construction management team and local stakeholders in Surabaya.
• Translate documents, reports, and other materials between Mandarin and Indonesian.
• Ensure clear and accurate communication during site visits and inspections.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in construction.
• Work closely with the construction management team to ensure project goals are met.
• Provide feedback on communication challenges and suggest improvements.
• Assist in the preparation of project reports and other documentation.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Fluent in both Mandarin and Indonesian, with excellent interpretation skills.
• At least 2 years of experience as a site interpreter in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction terminology and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar.
• Valid work permit for Indonesia.
• Bachelor's degree in Interpretation, Translation, or a related field.
